An article from Fangraphs regardings ground ball pitchers (allow more total hits but less extra base hits) vs. fly ball pitchers (allow less total hits but more extra base hits)

Baseball is definitely great for numbers guys, rich. There are just so many stats and angles that you can look at multiple ways.

Feel free to post anything interesting you come across. I realize the odds aren't the greatest but you just never know when you can capitalize.

Near the bottom of the study

The number of at bats is far more cor-
related with hits than anything else is, and
that overall performance of a player is more
correlated with hits than recent perfance is,
both of which are very non-intuitive results.
