Underage son is a poker prodigy. What should I do?

I have two sons aged 15 and 13, and I recently started noticing they like to play with cards when they’re home. I’m no stranger to the occasional poker game, but I was very surprised when I recently took my older one with me since I couldn’t get anyone to watch them. I ended up taking them to my friend’s poker night.

I expected he would play with my friend’s daughter (I suspect she has a crush on him), but he wouldn’t leave my side the entire evening. One thing led to another, and I let my kid sit in for me while I went to the bathroom. Little did I know he would clean house his first game! He was just as unbeatable even when my friends started playing for real. I’ve never seen a 15-year-old be that much better than adult and experienced poker players.

I talked to him about it and he said he always liked poker and other card games, but didn’t want to tell his mom and me because he wasn’t sure if we’d be upset. It turns out he’s really passionate about poker, and I’m wondering what my options are if he’s really that good. I found this online: https://www.whatsontech.com/top-10-rich ... ey-did-it/.

I don’t know if he’s got the tenacity to make poker his career, but I’d love to support him if he wants to try. What are my options here? Do I wait until he’s of legal age? Do I open an online casino account under my name and let him play? What’s the safest route here?
