Value Betting for the Belmont Stakes

Post by pacer » Sat Jun 06, 2015 9:27 am

I thought I would try and inquire if there is any value in today's Belmont Stakes. The "world" is on American Pharoah. He is the public's "lock". I think we have some value with the second and third choices? Thoughts/comments folks?? No bad luck tp AP but we might be able to make a dollar....
With 10 hours before post; American Pharoah is 2-5
At 8:25 a.m., a mere 10 hours, 35 minutes before post, and with $291,296 in the win pool, here are the Belmont Stakes odds:

1 MUBTAAHIJ 17-1
2 TALE OF VERVE 20-1
3 MADEFROMLUCKY 14-1
4 FRAMMENTO 24-1
5 AMERICAN PHAROAH 2-5
6 FROSTED 6-1
7 KEEN ICE 21-1
8 MATERIALITY 7-1

Morning pacer!

I don't bet horses so I don't have any opinion on the race but suggest you check out the 2+2 forum for some more ideas before placing any wager. Many of the guys on said forum are pretty sharp and hope you can glean some info to help you make informed decisions

Good luck and enjoy the race! I'd love to see American Pharaoh win the Triple Crown but you have to go where the value is :D

Hope you ended up with some coins, pacer. First Triple Crown winner in 3 decades or so!

Besides the race prizes, the owner(s) may even make more $ now from breeding fees!
