Now that there's at least a year of sports books out there to compete with Proline, I would add some info and tips for some of the books I use, and their specialities.

Bet365
-Welcome bonus is good. just bet $1 and get $250 in free play bonus.

-best use? play long shots via their SPGs (same parlay game). Tennis and golf discrepancies abound at times (when available).
-Best Sports to bet: on average, my experience has been positive for Tennis and Golf. The massive amount of surface area books have to cover, and bet365 is no exception to this, make some bets +ev just by comparing to it. definitely my daily plays.

You are a good man, red!

The gift card selections from OLG Points Program are underwhelming, to say the least, but hopefully they will add more as the program gains more traction. Right now this program is slated to run until August 2024 so get your points in!

I asked OLG to make the ProLine and PointSpread odds the same for retail as their online offerings, if they want to attract more players to the stores. That seems to have fallen on deaf ears but there's no harm in letting them know.

Good luck with your bets and hope to hear more angles and strategies from other fellas!

Thanks for posting about the Proline Points program! I wasn’t aware of it before. Proline generally has odds that are a little worse than what is available online but as my selection of available online books is dwindling sometimes it is the best that is available. These points can accrue quite quickly. Unfortunately likely faster than they can be redeemed. Scanning a max of 20 tickets a day is a slight barrier. The bigger barrier is redeeming a max of 10 items a week. That’s only $250 gift cards per week = 15000 points = $1500 spent on Proline. They really are pushing redemption on the draws. I guess multiple accounts could be helpful. Unless they get more big ticket items like the 5000 point Proline pack. But I only took 3 as I wanted to save some for the rest of you. And I already don’t know what I am going to do with those three.

I understand them promoting retail proline. With the options that are otherwise available I imagine they have lost significant market share. I don’t understand the business model. Even at high juice props paying 1.83/1.83 they are only holding 8.5%. The retailer gets 5% off the top. Winners that are redeemed in store then cost them 2%. Talk about razor thin margins.

Well I’ll be looking forward to my new sports attire. I wanted to try the redemption program out. I’m glad I did as I learned about the redemption bottlenecks. Anyways nice reading your posts lads! All the best!

Hey Biff, great to hear from you!

Are you still playing with OLG or more so with other books now? I recall you were able to take advantage of some soft Prop lines with OLG last year...are you seeing the same thing this year with MLB/NFL or is OLG too quick to update their lines/mistakes now to be able to fully take advantage?

Are you getting limited/banned from online sportsbooks because you won too much and/or exploited loopholes that they quickly closed down? I think the grass is always greener on the other side or so it appears but we don't know how good things are until they are gone. Sure OLG had their quirks with LLE and OTB back in the days but that was the best model, bar none, and it's unlikely we will see something like that again in our lifetime.

Any idea how to *monetize* these gift cards redeemable from ProLine Points? I thought about ordering a bunch of them and flipping them on FB Marketplace/Kijiji for a few bucks but that's probably more trouble than it's worth.

All the best with your plays!

I did not know you chatty Cathy's were talking in here

I have a side hustle with tickets to scotiabank (leaf games) so these points are amazing as know I can enjoy free beer with my free tickets. I have only been back betting for a week as I take summer off but within this week they have changed the 50 scaned tickets a day to 20 but more annoyingly this cap on redemption's was not in place last week as first day I did 15 redemption's but now it is caped at 10 a week. You also cannot store your points as accounts stop accumulating points at 250000 which will likey be lowered giving how things are going.
The OLG loot bag is pretty sweet as well but only so many umbrellas are needed.

Hey Richhh,

This is exactly why you need more proline accounts for extra points as needed.
Wife, family, etc... will all work.

If you guys really have no use for the points (Red/Biff/Bang/Tshi) I will buy the gift cards at half the value. Min $500 at a time its all digital so no need to send stuff in mail.
